In 2003, GCT was established with the idea to develop and produce diamond coated tools for the mechanical machining of PCB. Economic machining of high volumes of IMS or high Tg laminates, CFRK, GRP, graphite or Zirkonoxid in the dental industry, are only possible by using diamond coated tools.
Meanwhile GCT is the worldwide largest manufacturer of diamond coated tools for a broad field of applications. Growing electronic markets motivate us to invest in ongoing innovation and R&D.
Starting production with the 6th diamond coating device the coating capacity will increase to approx. 1.5 M diamond coated tools yearly.
To guarantee fast delivery time also in high volumes we will even go ahead and ordered already the 7th diamond coating device with planned production start for beginning next year.
