In the first half year 2016, GCT in Weingarten achieved a net sales increase of over 20%. Decisive was the sales of diamond-coated tools, used for the mechanical processing of copper PCB and for high precision reference holes in IMS and PCB with fillers.
The ongoing investment of 1.4 Mio. Euro is according to plan. The second cooling system and several measuring devices installed and additional staff is under in-company training. In August, the installation of the new CVD coating device will complete investment. Thereby the GCT coating capacity increases approx. 1/3 and delivery time of actual up to 10 weeks of tools for new applications or customers will reduce to acceptable time.
