GCT GmbH in Weingarten today reported a net sales increase of 60% in the last 3 month with diamond coated tools, YoY sales up is 138%. Essential was the capacity increase through the own diamond coating production which starts operating in April 2010 and the change to 3 shift in the tool production.
This investment was mandatory to meet the worldwide demand or diamond coated tools especially from China and Taiwan. GCT diamond coated drills and routers were used for the mechanical processing of halogen free laminates or with fillers and for high power LED based on aluminum or copper.
