GCT GmbH in Weingarten expand their management team. Johann Schmidt, Head of the Technical Department of GCT up to now, assumed the responsibility as Chief Technology Officer as from 1st February, 2013.
Since 1985, he concentrates on developing and manufacturing tools for the mechanical processing of PCBs.
Since over 20 years he is also responsible for the technical customer support worldwide. During that time he gain extensive experience in different positions. Johann Schmidt joined GCT almost 10 years ago. Since then, he made major contributions to the success of GCT as market leader of diamond coated PCB tools.
Johann Schmidt is responsible for:

- tool production
- diamond coating
- quality management and environment
