Multilayer diamond coating:
The GCT multilayer diamond coating is composed of different crystalline und nanocrystalline layers. The multilayer coating is built up in different thickness and number of layers depending on the application, tool diameter and geometry.
The multilayer layers are produced in a CVD (chemical vapour deposition) process on dedicated carbide grades.
